Pride and Prejudice the video game?
You know what? I wish someone would develop a Jane Austen role-playing video game. Seriously. Like, something in the vein of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR).
I mean, why not?
They already have:
1. A Pride and Prejudice boardgame
2. A Pride and Prejudice manga/comic
3. A Pride and Prejudice "choose your own adventure" type book
Why not a video game? Think of it, like in the beginning of KOTOR you can choose what kind of character to be:
1. Witty
2. Smart
3. Talented
4. Pretty
And using your talents, you gotta snare a husband.
You can end up being the "heroine" or the "bitchy one" depending on your choices and interactions with friends, family, and enemies/rivals. :)
You collect coins, earn talents (like upgrading "jedi" style)... deal with having unfortunate relatives, good friends, spotting enemies, etc.
Ultimate goal? Marriage (and hopefully, a happily ever after). :)

I think a RPG with the P&P setting would be fun! Actually, I have darcy and elizabeth in sims3 already! haha!!
Imagine learning dances to gain points, getting into strange rumours and get demerits...all with the goal of marriage. XP How fitting!
You earn status by learning an art (play an instrument, sew, draw, paint, play cards, start rumors, steer clear of rumors, flirt, ride, cook, sing, etc. LOL)
Heroine or spinster, rich or poor, decent girl or the town's tramp.
You have to save a loved one from misfortune, meet prospects (I mean men XD), save yourself from disgrace, all from inside the house (quite a challenge!) since women of good families couldn't work.
The ultimate: fall in love with a good man and marry?
