Over breakfast, I was asking my dad if he wanted some garchisa for his pancakes. He looked at me all weird, and said no.
Then my mom asked me, "what do you mean, garchisa?"
I said, "Cinnomon."
They laughed and said. "That's darchi."
Apparently garchisa means mustard. =\ *hides under the table*
They SOUND alike, okay? So now when I wonder if Aiba's faking it when he mixes up words, at least I know now that it's possible.
Also, my auntie was shocked to find out that I speak Japanese. :P (okay, so maybe I speak only the basics, but still. She doesn't know that. :P lol)
Also, something I made quite a while ago and didn't post yet:
at the fan meet... is this:
But THANK YOU SO MUCH:
1. for the card, Kytana, it was PURE aiba love!! <33
2. For the Aiba t-shirt and not charging me. I should have still paid. T_T
3. For destini for giving me the "A No Arashi" award -- for having the wackiest and zaniest ideas out of the bunch! :D
I admit, whenever i put on my "Aiba lab coat", I couldn't help but pull an Aiba moment stunt (i.e. - do or say something incredibly stupid or baka).
Example:
Fan #1: Wow, what if Nino had solo concert?
Fan #2: Haha, but then all we would hear about it Ohno! XD
Everyone: *laughs*
-silence-
Liz: *starts laughing*
Everyone: ???
Liz: I just got it.
*slaps palm-to-forehead*
Seriously, it's a magical lab coat. Its powers scare me. O_O But it's kind of cool in a way! ^_^ Well, I e-mailed Aiba's radio show, telling him about the fanmeet, along with some of the pictures. *sigh* We'll see if it gets read.
If you wanna see pictures of the fan meet, and I promise a more detailed blog about it LATER, go see my LJ @ riterandreader.
I'm running out of ideas already... and it's only the third day! :O
So, here's one...
Aibamen Saves Energy and World
Scientists have discovered a way of "going green" and saving on diesel fuels. They say that they have found a species called an "Aibamen", that is an energy source of unlimited bounds. Engineers plan to harness this new energy source by having a huge hamster-wheel, and have the Aibamen run, turning the generator.
This is truly a remarkable discovery, made by young females called "Arashians", who explain to us, they weren't even looking for a way to save the planet when the stumbled upon the Aibamen.
"We were just really lucky," one Arashian says. "I mean, who thought that Japanese pop artists could save the world?"
United States's President-Elect Barak Obama says,
"The energy created by the Aibamen can light an entire city like Tokyo,
Japan for several days in one run, without any harmful carbon immissions into the
air."
And what motiviates the Aibamen to run for sustained periods of time?
"Well, we just put a picture of Sho Sakurai in front of him," explained
one Arashian. "The strongest asset of the Aibamen is its stupidity. It
will run, trying to catch it - kind of like putting a carrot in front
of a horse," she shrugged.
When asked if having to run for long periods of time strained him, the Aibamen said, "No way! Tanoshimi!!" with a great big smile.
That's a few quick steps for the Aibamen, and one gaint leap for mankind.
Okay, So I'm calling these "Aibad Jokes" because they are bad (as in lame) jokes about Aiba. Nuff said, moving on.

How many Aibas does it take to screw in a light bulb?
A: Three!
One to turn on the vaccum cleaners.
One to to use vaccum cleaners to fly up to the ceiling, change the lightbulb with a piece of toast, some cornstarch, and a roll of tiolet paper.
And one to give the Jikenkeka, which is: "Tanoshii!!! ^_^ >"
P.S. - Don't try this at home.

Mind you, I'm new to learning Japanese and know only MINIMAL words. This was through the help of online translation/dictionary sites, and my own Japanese pocket dictionary, and some guess-work/patching. Not an exact, "word-for-word" translation - rather, I "English-ified" it so it makes more sense in English. :)
Enjoy! (also posted in Arashian.com message boards)
Friendship
How many important miracles happen?*
I guess it was like that, that we met by chance.
Embarrassed, I can’t say it easily.
My heart cries out
In its usual gratitude.
I’m searching for words#
That hits the spot.
There’s no wall I wouldn’t climb over.
CHORUS
Overflowing in my heart
It’s a dream we want to make come true.^
Absolute. Your innocent smile appears, in perfect harmony.@
Through thick and thin, we keep chasing after it.
Don’t forget the feeling of those times.
(A connected destiny, following) a line leading to the future
END
I throw myself down haphazardly, waiting for a miracle.$
Even if it doesn’t happen, I’ll keep accepting it.
I ready and willingly put my life on the line for you.
Even without reward, I have no regrets.
This is overflowing inside my heart,
A dream in our hearts we wish to grant.
Deeply moved, your laughing face transforms to tears.
Through thick and thin, I continue chasing after your smile,
Even through the times you can't laugh -
An unchanging dream since the day of our fateful meeting.
However far we are separated and miss each other,
We’re still connected together, by an invisible force.
CHORUS
Overflowing in my heart
It’s a dream we want to make come true.^
Absolute. Your innocent smile appears, in perfect harmony.
Through thick and thin, we keep chasing after it.
Don’t forget the feeling of those times.
(A connected destiny, following) a line leading to the future

have NO idea what this line says, so i'm just guessing. Those who are
fluent, please tell me. All I could translate was: "Uniting scram" (?
"scram" is a rugby maneuver?)
